Alonso Family Dialogue Series (DICE)

Date: Thursday, February 22, 2024, 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Location: Ohio Union, Center for Belonging and Social Change, Alonso Family Room

Cost: Free

The CBSC is committed to creating space for members of the campus community to dialogue. Dialogue is collaborative, open-ended and not steeped in the desire to “win” or “be right”. The Alonso Family Dialogue Series is a series of programs for individuals to engage with others, hear other perspectives, and make new connections.

In this upcoming dialogue, the student organizaiton, Natural and Prosperous Society (N.A.P.S) is discussing our natural hair journey and how it has impacted our self-esteem, both personally and professionally, throughout our lives. Join us as we delve into this topic and gain insight from each other about the importance of self-acceptance and self-care of natural hair.
