Straight A’s: Discussion Exploring APIDA Experiences in Higher Education

Date: Monday, January 31, 2022, 1 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.

Location: Virtual - Zoom

Cost: Free

This discussion will offer an opportunity for APIDA students to share their experiences at Ohio State in relationship to finding community, connecting with others from similar backgrounds and battling the "model minority" stereotype in the classroom, in internships and moving into the workplace. This program will also be an opportunity to share tips and tools with one another on how to manage it all.

The conversation will be aligned with themes from the book “Straight A's: Asian American College Students in Their Own Words.”  The first ten attendees will receive a free copy.

All are welcome to attend. The experiences of those with an APIDA heritage will be centered in the discussion.

Registration is now closed.
