To kickoff LGBTQ History Month, join the Center for Belonging and Social Change for our dinner social and story sharing event, Coming Out for Community! This event is open to all LGBTQ Buckeyes and allies to connect and celebrate. The night will also feature The Coming Out Monologues, an opportunity for LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and faculty at Ohio State to share their stories of coming out and living authentically. With any remaining time, there will be an open mic for anyone to come up and share their coming out story!
Please RSVP to attend and/or share your story.
Every October, nations around the world recognize LGBTQ History Month, with many organizations and individuals offering events that highlight and celebrate LGBTQ+ communities of the past and the present through programming, visibility campaigns, and educational events. LGBTQ History Month focuses on developing a sense of belonging and empowerment for the LGBTQ community.
