La C.A.S.A.
The purpose of La C.A.S.A. (Latinx Community Advocacy in Solidarity for Awareness) is to create a community among Latinx students that actively work towards solidarity, leadership and community awareness and understanding at The Ohio State University.
We guide this program, based in the seven principles: truth, justice, righteousness, reciprocity, balance, harmony and order. By using these principles, we begin an ongoing journey of increasing awareness and making conscious choices towards a more successful self.
La C.A.S.A. meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m at the Alonso Family Room, in the Center for Belonging and Social Change.
Note: This gathering is not an appropriate forum to fulfill requirements for academic programs or classes (such as for projects, papers, or graduation requirements), student requirements (such as for First Year Success Series or STEP Professional Development Co-Curriculars), nor for Standards of Excellence requirements from Sorority and Fraternity Life. To find a program that could work for such requirements, check out our calendar for anything with a title followed by DICE.
