Community Connections

The Student Life Center for Belonging and Social Change's student community connections groups focus on creating a sense of belonging, well-being, the formation of meaningful relationships amongst peers, and expanding understandings of social responsibility and civic engagement.

Community Connections meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6-7PM at the Alonso Family Room.

Note: These gatherings are not an appropriate forum to fulfill requirements for academic programs or classes (such as for projects, papers, or graduation requirements), student requirements (such as for First Year Success Series or STEP Professional Development Co-Curriculars), nor for Standards of Excellence requirements from Sorority and Fraternity Life. To find a program that could work for such requirements, check out our calendar for anything with a title followed by DICE.

Financial literacy is an essential part of your journey as a college student. Having the knowledge to be able to manage budgets, and make informed decisions on loans, credit, and savings all lay the groundwork for your long-term financial success. This week, we are partnering with the Student Wellness Center to guide you on navigating the financial landscape with confidence, including budgeting, navigating credit scores, and resources for financial planning on campus. This session is designed to help you feel empowered about your financial well-being and provide important insights into managing your finances and planning for a successful future.
