DICE Certificate Program
The Discovering, personal Impact, through Community Engagement (DICE) Certificate Program through the Center for Belonging and Social Change is for students interested in exploring inclusive leadership, gaining knowledge on how to foster communities, and creating community with peers and experts. The DICE certification is a great way to demonstrate a vested interest in diversity and intercultural engagement to future schools and employers!
DICE is a largely self-guided experience for Ohio State students. You choose the events and complete the reflections based on your schedule. You can receive credits for the DICE certificate by participating in various programs, including cultural events, Student Education and Empowerment Workshops related to equity and inclusion, signature CBSC programming, approved service projects, and diversity leadership retreats.
To help explore and gather various experiences and information, we offer two (2) certificate programs designed to fit the interests and passions of diverse participants.
● DICE Track One: This program aims to explore the intrapersonal dynamics of student leaders by answering the question (“Who Am I?”). In this certificate program, participants will gain knowledge on the foundation of inclusive leadership, advocacy, and wellness.
- Participants must complete twelve (12) credits in one (1) academic year.
- Credit = 1 program/workshop + a 125 word reflection (per credit)
Completing credit allows you to gain foundational knowledge about communities, how to explore intrapersonal components and advocacy skills.

- Participants must complete fifteen (15) credits in one (1) academic year.
- Credit= 1 program/workshop + a 125 word reflection (per credit)
